Swing sad song

There is no end to the ways artists create, and no end to the ways they survive and thrive in the economic market. New Orleans is packed with passionate people pressing their art in bold, beautiful ways. The sound file below is from a pair of recordings I made in July of 2018 while attending Kolaj Fest. It starts off with the creative writing of street poet David Blanton, who'll write you a poem based on any prompt you give, and the music of Doreen Ketchen who plays by request alongside her band.

Both work in The French Quarter for tips . . .
