The Dreamboat Research Project, Phoenix AZ. 2001

In 2001, in support of my colleagues at the Dreamboat Research Project, I executed the first version of what would eventually evolve into The Seaside Fleet. Staged in conjunction with ArtLink’s 13 Annual Art Detour festival I distributed and unknown number of paper boats across downtown Phoenix (at least 1000 by my memory).

Much of the documentation was later sent to the Dreamboat Research Project research team, and has since been lost - I am searching my hardcopy files for any pix or notes. The picture below from the Alwun House artspace is all I can present at this time.
